Binary package hint: read-edid
We are in the process of modifying jasper to parse and set hdmi display
resolution for Ubuntu on Armel for Maverick for omap (TI) hardware. We
are using the edid parser from the read-edid package, which currently
resides in universe. The package itself is largely stand-alone, and
does not interfere with any other component. As it is a shell
executable, there is no ui issues.
