I am using Edgy with the latest updates, and amarok does not seem to
support njb devices (the type of device is not even listed when I try to
manually add it)

we dont support self compiled libs , please open a new bug if you are
having an issue NOT reopen a unrelated bug.
Infomation about what version of amarok you are using would be helpfull
The amarok in dapper-backports ( version 1.4.3 ) is compiled with libnjb
support and the librarys are
This cannot be right.
Either that or Amarok isn't compatible with any recent version of
libmtp.
I compiled libmtp, libnjb, and gnomad2 and they work fine with my Zen
player (uses same libs as the Dell DJ) and Amarok doesn't even have the
NJB plugin option when I try to manually add the device.
