Can still reproduce on the 12.04 alpha. However, after some further digging, this looks specific to gnome- terminal windows; as described above, I have the following settings: Decoration Windows: !(class=Gnome-terminal) Shadow Windows: all - in order to remove the decoration (but not shadow)
