Currently without libtunepimp3-mp3 installed, Amarok just runs up the
cpu on my Edgy Beta. I agree with Maduser, working the same as
mp3-support would be wonderful.

The Problem was I haven't installed libtunepimp3-mp3. Maybe a Message which is
say this would be nice.

this has been changed in the latest armark, can you test this in amarok
1.4.3 in edgy beta or from dapper-backports and let us know how it go's
