Public bug reported: Using Edgy, anjuta 2.0.2-2ubuntu1
Anjuta 2.0.2 does not come with the Build plugin enabled by default. Even if it is enabled (and due to https://launchpad.net/products/anjuta/+bug/63126 I have to enable it each time), there is no way to turn a single file program to an executable through Anjuta. Single file programs can be compiled, but not actually built, creating a very confusing situation where the Execute Program command does not work despite successful compilation. Anjuta 1.2 had this functionality, making it very appropriate for learning how to program C++ without the barrier of having to create projects. This is no longer the case. ** Affects: anjuta (upstream) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: anjuta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #312667 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312667 ** Also affects: anjuta (upstream) via http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312667 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- Anjuta 2.02 does not support single-file builds https://launchpad.net/bugs/63129 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
