Sometimes after the screensaver, the mouse pointer becomes invisible on
a current to 11/6 Maverick 10.10 system. I am running the Nvidia
graphics 6150, without the proprietary drivers. I don't recall seeing
this problem in any earlier release. The hardware did not have problems
with the 10.04

I make test with the release (latest) 10.10 on the same laptop and i don't have
this problem i try the livecd and a clean install.

Can you bring back the cursor if you switch to console and back with
Ctrl+Alt+F1 and Ctrl+Alt+F7?

Just tried the live CD (released today) on the Lifebook S7010 and it
looks OK: I get a screen with a mouse pointer, so it seems the issue is
resolved. I'll upgrade the installation and post the results when
running from hard disk.

but when I installed the the older version of maverik kernel rc5 and logged
into ubuntu maverik beta
the mouse pointer worked i.e. it became visible
