Same problem here, after successful upgrade from dapper to edgy, on ati
radeon x1600. I get mesa on fglrxinfo, even though composite is set to
off.

Same problem here. I suspect the fglrx module has not been caught up
with the kernel release yet. May have wait a few days :(

Still fails. It is still installing an old version of fgrlx (7.1.0) and
Xorg is 7.1.1.
