Workaround, FWIW, that does not require much special treatment (after installation, that is): 1. dpkg -P gwenview 2. download Gwenview for Dapper 3. open archive using Midnight Commander or other fave tool 4. manually copy contents to respective places Gwenview for Dapper works flawlessly when

I can confirm that archives don't appear in Gwenview's file browser. According to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120974 gwenview has this feature, but it doesn't appear to be present in current Kubuntu Feisty. Xlylith: all files refers to images and videos, it shouldn't be showing any other

I am also using Kubuntu 6.10 and I have the same experience. However, in my case, Gwenview does not even show any other files than images files, although I have already selected ¨all files¨ from the drop down menu. Is this only happenned to kubuntu or should I go to upstream to report this bug?
