For me Banshee is not responding when i import a folder.
I am not letting Banshee watch my media folder as I manually import the media I

Well, that was some retarded error reporting on my part. Missed most of
the information that'd make debugging easier :)
So, I'm on Maverick Meekrat, with all updates installed. Banshee version
is 1.7.6 (from

I'm still having this problem. Disabling the DBus interface with
--disable-dbus seems to fix it.

I can confirm that "banshee --disable-dbus" solved my problem with
Banshee freezing:
Banshee Lock up/Freeze Problems:
- The directory watcher extension would sense a new file, which would cause it
to lock up.
- Banshee would complete playback of the first selected song, but then
stop/lock up aft
Since the last bunch of Updates for Ubuntu 10.10, Banshee seems to be
running fine again. At least it does not keep freezing anymore.
