Ebenezer Jeyaraja, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't
been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from

We need to know what version you are seeing the fix on. If we do not get
the verification we need, then this fix will be reverted on the released

Due to national holidays, the deadline for verification of fixes for the
-proposed kernel has been extended thru Monday, November 15th.
If verification that this bug is fixed by the -proposed kernel has not
occurred by that date, the change will be reverted and this bug will be
