It is possible that this is a more global problem. The debian/control file does not contain anything related to libgcj7: Depends: bigloo (= 2.4b-3), ${shlibs:Depends}, ${misc:Depends} So my conclusion would be that ${misc:Depends} somehow includes libgcj7. It should definitly get fixed there.
