Public bug reported:

this might have wider issue behind.
- started the graphics mode, used the computer normally, installed kernel
module for digital tv (Aver)
- watch tv for a while (about an hour), when i got bac, i used mozilla for few
minutes and then i got back to do something an then i noticed system started
behave weird, for example execution of command line commands had delays
- tried to reboot and everything seemed to start except the graphics mode - i
have even seen the startup graphics with those blinking colourful dots under
ubuntu logo.... when i as a blind switched to console alt+ctrl+f1 and pressed
alt+ctrl+dell the machine, it started rebooting, got that logo screen again
- when booted in the rescue mode, as root i able to start the X manually and
tried just update the packages and got this error which i am reporting now
