I notice you boot with acpi=off - is there a particular reason? I wonder if
that is causing some of the Radeon issues, but then I wonder if you need it to
fix some other issues?
To my mind the errors that are interesting in the log are:

This looks like the exact same messages as I get with an RV670 in
Maverick. It hasn't worked since Lucid (but the messages were slightly
