For the upcoming oneiric release, googleearth i386 packages are installable via multiarch, and using ia32-libs to install them is deprecated. If there are any problems with these packages on oneiric, please file bugs against the respective library packages, not against ia32-libs. -- You received

I forgot to say that I have an ATI x1250 card and use the free radeon dtivers. The ia32-libs_20090808ubuntu9+maverick~xorgedgers2_amd64.deb package from xorg edgers PPA Repository solves the problem definitively. Be careful. Do not add the repository. Just download and install the package. --
