Same problem here with a Toshiba M30X. Here is the trace from dmesg:

Same here with Toshiba Satego X200, even when I force ectype to 12,
which worked in lucid flawlessly. Here's the dmesg output :

Changed my system due to power management and PCMCIA hotplug issues to
the mailnline kernel 2.6.36 and tried to compile the module from the
head source at http://omnibook.sourceforge.net - it compiles
successfully, but gives the same kind of error when attempting to load
it.
Some comments on the
Tested on maverick with kernel from Lucid (2.6.32) and it worked well.
So something must have gone wrong with the kernel in maverick.

Exactly this is what I can confirm, and NONE of the maverick kernels
works yet, not even the most recent from maverick-proposed.
