I have done what you write. Enclose you find both files.
And because I didn't saw any error. I tried once again the Upgrade
with the update-manager and it works then.
Unfortunately I had several problems during the upgrade (eg. Kmail didn't
work). But all of them
could be corrected
Yes it looks like everything is ok with the update files. Thanks for

Can you send a file with all the output? Actually two files. Do the
following.
sudo apt-get update ~/Desktop/File1
then
sudo apt-get upgrade ~/Desktop/File2
Both files will be located on your desktop. Attach them to your next
