Network mounts don't get unmounted on
There is also the issue that after system startup, cifs mounts from
fstab don't make it into mtab, but they are definitely mounted. When
bringing up the network manually, cifs mounts get mounted by
/etc/network/if-up.d/mountnfs and show up in mtab (see also Bug#44874
and Bug#62607).

Has always been the case that NFS mounts don't get unmounted on ifdown,
even before we moved mounting to ifup
We can fix this with upstart
