After speaking to the mythtv devs they will only entertain bugs in the current release (0.20) if you can reproduce this with 0.20 the please feel free to reopen the bug. The current users have also said they've worked around it. On top of this without backtraces they won't look at it. **

I've been getting this consistently when trying to set up MythTV with a Hauppauge Nova-T 500 DVB-T card in a new Feisty installation. Every time I did Scan Channels in the Input Connections screen it would get to 7% and then crash with an invalid pointer as described in this bug. After much

Yes, it happens in the latest version on the most up to date Feisty. However, I have noticed that it seems to be random, as if you keep rescanning it crashes in different places. I have managed to get to 100% once, and hit finish, which caused a segmentation fault, but seems to have stored the
