When updating from 11.04 version to 12.4 version the installation
stopped because of too many errors. Then it was not anymore possible to
load up Ubuntu. So i tryed to install once again the old 11.04 version
but without success. Installation failure: /var/log/syslog and
/var/log/partman

I have a similar problem. In order that would fix it, I left
unpartitioned space on your hard drive.

Hello I'm from Ecuador, I have the same problem with Ubuntu 11.04, an
error message appears in installation, my screen goes black, sounds the
start of ubuntu but the operating system from the cd. someone already
has a solution for this?
