I'm setting this to invalid since you are using an Ubuntu derivative in
Live Media mode and as we, Ubuntu, have special workarounds for dealing
with updating the kernel when running in a live environment.

Lol, - just remembered... the hda under this Live CD is BitLockered.
(Well, technically, it's currently suspended, but you still need
something smart enough to know to look for the cleartext keys in the
boot MBR, or whathaveyou...
