Public bug reported: System used: Ubuntu 11.04 (kernel 2.6.37-5)
See attached Logfile. When the driver tries to MMIO map the graphiccards memmory the syscall seems to fail.. this is happening since updating to the newest dev version of ubuntu on my machine. Seems there is a general problem with MMIO because there are serveral error messages like "shpchp 000:00:09.0: Cannot reserver MMIO region" on boottime. The problem stays the same if i use the radeon driver (only the message differs a little). The attached logfile is from fglrx driver. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- MMIO Problem with fglrx and radeon driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/677539 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
