Is this bug related to Bug #59926 DHCP recognizes LAN only minutes after plugging cable? On my machine using Breezy, Dapper or Gutsy, it always takes DHCP up to 7 minutes until it eventually wakes up from sleep and gets the IP address. it tries to fetch an address even if the link state is down
