The issue is the same. The work aroud works almost perfectly. It creates
a new smaller problem. If 2 accounts are logged on and they both start
firestarter with the same script - firestarter gui starts twice (ok) -
on the Desktop of one user (not ok). The second user runs the script and
thinks

This looks similar to bug #30291. Can you try the work-around listed
towards the bottom of the comments and see if this is the same issue?

Why are you adding firestarter explicitly to sudoers? Anyone in the
admin group can use sudo and gksudo to run anything...
