Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

When I open update-manager and check for updates, then download them, the pop
up window appears, showing one progress bar for the overall download progress.
This window has a default width, which is normally kept constant during the
download progress.
There's a small arrow under it, to show details for each file that's being
downloaded. If I click it, the window expands and shows details.
However, if I click the arrow again, the window collapses and hides the
details, but not returning to its original width, but it adjusts its width in a
way, that all the text under the progress bar (file name and remaining time)
fits in width.
And as the file name changes and/or remaining time counts down, this text
changes width, and the windows keeps following this width.
So the progress bar window's widht is keep changing constantly.
This only happens when I expand and then collapse the details. Without this,
the window keeps its original width and doesn't change.
