When you say 'stop thinking totally' - what do you mean? What is left on the screen - a blank screen or one of the splash screens ? Is the cursor still flashing? Does the caps lock key work? Are any of your disc lights flashing? -- Booting up problem with new kernal

No the caps lock does not work...the cursor is still flashing...it does not display a splash screen...no none of the other disc lights are flashing...it almost displays a command line like it does with the other older kernal... -- Booting up problem with new kernal
