There might be an 64bit-32bit bug in the ctypes module of python. I'm
investigating a bug where a python app does:
xlib = ctypes.cdll.LoadLibrary( 'libX11.so.6')
xlib_dpy = xlib.XOpenDisplay( os.environ['DISPLAY'])
xlib_root = xlib.XDefaultRootWindow( xlib_dpy)
On my Gentoo x86_64 machine this
