Could this get a fix in Edgy too? On the basis that F-Spot is default photo manager and this is technically an i18n bug. Either the whole app could get a version bump, or this change could be isolated and applied as a patch. -- Let the user decide where to import to

I agree with Tom. This feature is needed and I can't seem to find it anywhere. It isn't in the preferences options (as Tom pointed out) nor is it configurable in gconf nor as a command line option nor in any hidden preferences directory. This functionality simply does not seem to be available in
