Exactly the same problem as when I originally reported it: I can't make
MIDI input and output work together, and setting up output is
complicated (involves futzing around with jack).

Ahh, looks like I'm a bit behind! This has been known upstream for a
while[1], and is fixed in the trunk, to be released as version 2 in a
couple of months. Until then, I hope to have unstable packages building
again in the PPA from September, or you could try building trunk
yourself, or using the
Hmm. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to test this here. I'm going
to upload a new version of the software to the mscore-stable PPA
shortly. Could you test that (version 1.1 - it should be built sometime
around this weekend), and report back?
