Auto-maximising
I think this bug report is invalid now, since there is an option to
configure the minimum size to automaximize a window (the default is 75%
and if it's set to 100%, the automaximize feature is disabled).

I second Kevin's 1st suggestion: Add an option to for this
MaximizeIfBigEnough
It's really annoying have to restore Firefox, Banshee, Thunderbird every
time I open them.

I usually work with more than 4 applications at the same time, which I
really need to keep an eye on each one at all times. If for example I
only want to open my home directory to check one file, I don't really
need it to open maximized on a 23inch screen to just get one file, and
to cover up
I do not know if this is related to this bug, but i think it is.
1 - I user guake. It used to show up filling a nice part of the screen
that I could choose. Now it does not and I do not know how not to get it
maximized allways.
2. There is something rare with google-chrome maximized when using
@Brian: can you ensure you that for unity package, before triaging a
bug, you keep the same status in both upstream and package bugs? We keep
to triage those that way. Thanks :)
