Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: coreutils

I have big backup files (19Gb) and a Iomega Rev (RRD) tape with UDF
Filesystem.

When I try to copy a backup file (19Gb) to the Rev, cp writes exactly
1Gb of the file and then exits with this error:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/archives# cp -av x3non.20061106.master.tar.gz
/media/rev/x3non-desktop/
`x3non.20061106.master.tar.gz' ->
`/media/rev/x3non-desktop/x3non.20061106.master.tar.gz'
Ecceduto limite dimensione file (core dumped).

With older Ubuntu releases everything was fine.

On syslog no messages are written.

** Affects: coreutils (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
