I am using Ubuntu 12.04.5 64-bit kernel Linux 3.11.0-26. Virtual Box was
working nicely and all of sudden, I think it was after installing kernel
3.11.0-40 it is not woking anymore.

I get this crash everytime I install virtualbox from Ubuntu Software
Centre and got this error after rebooting too.
Then when trying to create a virtualbox instance, running say Ubuntu
server, when starting the instance, I get the following error:
