The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:
1) If you are comfortable
The 18 month support period for Edgy Eft 6.10 has reached it's end of
life. As a result, we are closing the linux-source-2.6.17 Edgy Eft
kernel task.

I install old 2.6.12 Breezy kernel and the bug is not present on this
kernel. Reassuming the bug is on 2.6.17 Edgy kernel, 2.6.15 Dapper
kernel, but not on 2.6.12 Breezy kernel, so some patch introduced
between Breezy and Dapper release cause this bug. Tomorrow I'll try to
compile a 2.6.19-rc5
dmesg output. Note that everything from 3rd file row is reported when
the network stop to work.

I forget to mention that the network card work without problem under
windows xp and I also try linux Troppix live cd with no problem
