Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducable with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release - Gutsy Gibbon. It would help us greatly if you
could test with it so we can

hi,
when I delete my gnome-panels on my second head the reappear after a I
restart X.
reproduce like this:
1. start X with dualhead support
2. delete gnome-panels on 2. head
- 3. restart X - panels appear again
