i dont know what happens really...

the system becomes completely unresponsive...i tried doing ctrl+alt+f1
and finally got a tty...it seems that gdm or X finally restarted...

other times i restarted gdm manually...

could it be skype? skype seems to lock the system up when incoming or
outgoing calls...

dont know what to make of this but freezes are nasty...
