Hi, we've tested 1.10.0+r1059-1 with reverse dependencies:
- Kadu
- ekg
- Kopete
- libpurple (using Pidgin)
- telepathy (using Empathy)
Results:
- Kadu connected with proxy and without, works good
- ekg connected with proxy and without, works good
- Kopete connected without proxy (we have no idea
Looks good. FFe approved.

I uploaded libgadu from Debian unstable and our current kadu to my PPA for test
build. Both builds fine so I installed both on my natty and kadu works fine.

You
Thank you. I still have some questions though.
Could you attach the install log please? It's always good to attach
every file that is relevant to the report. This makes our job easier
when reviewing.
What do you mean by Newer libgadu is needed to get kadu fully working
properly.? Is there
libgadu-1.10.0 provides support for typing notifications and multilogon. If
Kadu is built against it (libgadu-1.10.0 exports new symbols), that support is
enabled in Kadu. Other clients don't need to be recompiled as they don't
support new libgadu yet and the new version is API/ABI backwards
OK. What about the rest of the reverse dependencies? Are those
affected by r1059? Has anyone performed any testing?

[FFe] Sync libgadu
I tested Pidgin with libgadu-1.10.0 (though not using Ubuntu) and it
works just fine with exception of proxy connection which seems broken
for all clients using unpatched libgadu-1.10.0.

I'm marking this as Incomplete until I'm convinced that this update
doesn't break any of the reverse dependencies. If anyone else from
ubuntu-release wants to comment, please do.
