Settings not saved on natty
To manage notifications
For today it still does not work (Ubuntu 12.04 64bit) - with every
restart on morning I have my lovely 10 minutes with setting keyboard
layout from the scratches.
Ubuntu does not allow you to be bored!

I tried on Ubuntu, and there is the same problem. If I try to switch the
layout using gnome utility (switching from FRA layout to USA layout
only), when I reboot the layout selected in the indicator is USA, but
when I type in a terminal, it's FRA which is used (and which is the one
in
sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration
updates the /etc/default/keyboard file.

The keyboard layout management seems to have changed in Natty. I think it
should be saved in /etc/default/keyboard, but I don't know if there is an
automatic script which update automaticly this file.
If we want only a per-user setting, saving this configuration in a ~/.dmrc file
could be a
Setting to confirmed.
The lxkeymap code does not currently attempt to save the settings, as
far as I can see.
Specifically, the ok method in PreferencesLxKeymapDialog.py does nothing
at all. It may have been created by some sort of code skeleton
generator, and then not completed by the
