It looks like in this case root user was somehow used, maybe jude user did not
have permissions to write the data to that folder.
In any case 9.10 release is no longer supported so leaving as Incomplete.

Hello,
It looks like your ubuntuone-syncdaemon is failing to start and is not
able to write the logs about the failure.
Could you please try running ubuntuone-syncdaemon manually by running
the following command in the terminal:
/usr/lib/ubuntuone-client/ubuntuone-syncdaemon --debug
And paste t
