The fglrx driver doesn't support your card, you need to use the default,
open source driver.

Yesterday I found out that the driver in the ATI site is compatible with
older kernel versions. Now I guess the question changes a bit.
How can I install a driver for older kernel versions in a Linux with the
latest kernel? Is there any way of making such a thing?
