Natty/Unity needs obvious way to toggle between open/close
Fixed by adding close/minimize/maximize controls some releases ago.

Following today's updates, it appears that clicking on the
applications/files folders dash buttons allows to open and close dash
screens. So, AFAIC, 50% of the bug/whish reported here is fixed.

I agree with a need for a button to revert the Dash size to small, and
remembering the user choice next time Dash opens.
For a close button, I'm not sure, I like lean, and pressing Esc or re-
clicking the button that initiated Dash should work. Oops, I just
noticed, if you initiate Dash by

It seem that it's possible to easily switch to full screen dash, but not
the other way around.
See screenshot attached: In partial screen dash, there's an icon (sort
of) at bottom right to switch to full screen dash, but this icon is not
present in full screen dash to revert to partial screen.
