Sebastien, I am sorry but when I tried to run in a gdb session I just
get the message 'Dbus Warning ...', please let me know if I could
provide you any other information.

Does it simply lock and not present a window?
Which version of unity are you running 2d/3d?

Karl, it doesn't crash so I haven't a strack trace or backtrace, however
I tried to run in gdb but I get same message... it looks like similar
when you get a timeout while is starting, maybe is trying to connect
to a external services before start.
PS: I am using Unity with 3D Support (ATI)
