I'd really like to help and bisect the problem, but the upstream aptitude
maintainer doesn't seem to use any public source control.

pressing + on updatable packages clears
So, natty release is over and it seems this bug is still undecided and
new, although easy to reproduce. If I was grumpy, I'd ask if it's only
meant for lepers ... personally, I quite like it and use it daily and on
multiple machines.
