Thank you for taking some time to make Ubuntu better.
You don't have to wait for the search to complete. Just type a few starting
characters of some specific application and hit enter. It will automatically
load that particular application.

er... yes, i do. if it worked as you described, i wouldnt' have filed
this bug. if i hit enter before the spinner stops spinning, nothing
happens.
