I know it's a duplicate of at least 2 other similar bug reports.. point is

I really don't understand why it takes forever for a stupid patch to get
set and get rid of such a basic annoyance.. come on canonical! This
thing has been like this since lucid...

I'm trying to apply that patch but when i build the package the patch
gets unapplied. What I'm trying to do is to calculate the energy_rate
value from the charge_now file instead of using current_now.
