I have written a script which disables/enables wireless from dbus.
my code uses this command
dbus-send --system --type=method_call
--dest=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager
org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.setWirelessEnabled boolean:false
the problem is that the applet does not recognize that I disabled
wireless (there is a "v" near enable wireless). the command will only
disconnect it!
