Thanks for your bug report and help to make ubuntu better.
I can't unfortunately reproduce that issue. To be able to debug and see
what's wrong here, can you please try to:
- copy /var/lib/dpkg/info/bamfdaemon.postinst in your home folder
- change the first line "set -e" by "set -ex"
- run it as
