Public bug reported:

I'm using Kubuntu 10.04
[pts1 shurick@antares ~]$ uname -a
Linux antares 2.6.32-31-generic #61-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 8 18:24:35 UTC 2011 i686
GNU/Linux
I have integrated video card and KDE 4.4.5

Sometimes windows stop to redraw if they are bigger than some certain size. In
such case I see a lot of following lines in .xsession-errors:
kwin(5463) KWin::checkGLError: GL error ( PostPaint ): 0x "505"
I noticed that this often occurs if I run GVim.
Also this error may disappear if I close GTK application like Firefox or
Thunderbird.

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using:
[pts7 shurick@antares /]$ lsb_release -rd
Description:    Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS
Release:        10.04
2) The version of the package you are using:
[pts7 shurick@antares /]$ apt-cache policy kwin
kwin:

[pts7 shurick@antares /]$ apt-cache policy nvidia-current
nvidia-current:
  Installed: 195.36.24-0ubuntu1~10.04
3) What you expected to happen: windows should redraw normally
4) What happened instead: windows do not redraw after they reach some size.
Following lines appear in .xsession-errors
kwin(5463) KWin::checkGLError: GL error ( PostPaint ): 0x "505"
