I can confirm Pascal’s obervation: The Printing entry does not show up
in the unity dash search (I have a German locale). Is this really the
original bug, or should we open a new item for this?
Besides that, I can confirm the translation issue for German as well:

new bug about this against system-config-printer?
About the German mistranslation problem, please file a bug against the
ubuntu-translations project, this bug is already used up for the Dutch
one.

In Oneiric it only appears in the Gnome Control Center under Hardware
(unity search no longer finds it), having Printers there instead of
Printing would fit in better.

Hi, the translation error has already been fixed in language-pack-gnome-nl
1:11.04+20110509 in natty-updates, therefore closing ubuntu-translations task.
But I still think we need a better naming in English like

The mistranslation is still valid. It is fixed in Launchpad[1] and in
the -proposed package (I just tested :)), but it was not verified by the
Dutch team. Next language pack update is scheduled for the next week.
