When I use linux-image-2.6.39-0-generic (from kernel-ppa, alsa-1.0.24)
on MB GA-P55-USB3, I cannot get the Front output work (I have tried all
controls in alsamixer without success). Meanwhile, Headphones output
works well (volume and mute).
I managed to get Front output work by using hda-verb: hda-verb
/dev/snd/hwC0D2 0x1b SET_PIN_WIDGET_CONTROL 0x40. I think that the same
is to be done by alsa control "Front" but it does not.
