Public bug reported:

I have just run Kubuntu 7.04 Feisty Herd 2 for AMD64 from CD on my HP
Compaq nx6125. The system was behaving very slowly and I noticed that
the clock was running too fast. It was twice as fast as it should be. On
same machine I'm running Gentoo Linux and the clock works just fine with
kernels 2.6.18 and 2.6.19.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
