Title:
language pack creation for Bemba
To manage notifications about this bug go to:
I updated langpack-o-matic's maps to the current data from oneiric and
the new langpack-locales, so it now knows about Bemba as well. That
means, as soon as any Ubuntu package or Launchpad export any bem_ZM po
files, a language-pack-bem will be created.
** Changed in: langpack-locales (Ubuntu)
This bug was fixed in the package langpack-locales - 2.13+git20110617-1

langpack-locales (2.13+git20110617-1) oneiric; urgency=low
* Update to current upstream glibc git head localedata.
- Add bem_ZM and en_ZM. (LP: #796591)
* Drop patches which got applied upstream:
Thanks,
Is there any further work required from my side on this?

Thanks for your work there! Before we can start building langpacks, we
need to have a locale for Bemba (also submitted to upstream glibc). Did
that already happen, i. e. is there a locale which we can add to
langpack-locales? If so, can you please link to the upstream bug and
attach the locale
We have the locale. Got a lot of help from Claude but I doubt its made
it yet into the upstream ( may be due to timing issues). Not sure what
the bug here: http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=12681 means
in terms of availability of the locale for upstream inclusion. May be
you can
be
you can advise?
Thanks
Anthony
